100 Bits of "Kristin" Trivia

Here are things that you may not know about me, but I felt moved to share. A friend of mine at school did this on her Facebook account, so I'm stealing her idea. I hope she won't mind.

1. I unashamedly love girl musical groups from the 60s.
2. Apparently, I'm quite clumsy.
3. One of my eyes appears smaller than the other when I smile.
4. When I was a little girl, I had a lisp. And sometimes when I'm really tired, it slips out.
5. When I laugh, my nostrils flare uncontrollably.
6. I like to watch Lifetime movies when I'm home alone, or when I'm sick.
7. At one point in my life, around 6th grade, I wore inserts in my shoes to correct my ankle "issue". It didn't work and I don't wear them anymore.
8. I had braces for 3 and a half years of my life.
9. I'm obsessed with flavored waters. And not the Aquafina or Dasani kind. The generic ones from Wal-mart.
10. I cry....alot. It's a thing I do.
11. I'm very passionate about singing. I love to do it and it's one of the things that I know I do well.
12. I have self-esteem issues.
13. When I was 2 years old, I got lost at the Oklahoma State Fair in OKC. I have vivid memories still to this day of that night. They're like snapshots.
14. I remember all of my dreams.
15. When people spell "yeah" like "ya", it really bothers me.
16. I've never gotten a speeding ticket. The only tickets I've ever gotten were parking tickets on campus at OU.
17. I love the way my kids smell in the morning or right after they wake up from naps.
18. I still like to color.
19. I watch sappy chick flicks over and over again, for the fun of it.
20. I will watch OSU basketball with my husband and enjoy it....to an extent.
21. Cake makes me gag.
22. I can eat an entire batch of homemade brownies in one sitting.
23. I buy books based on their covers. If it looks cool, I'll buy it. If it's an ugly cover, I won't.
24. I could still do the hurdles if given the chance.
25. Sometimes I find myself randomly standing in the "Ready, OK" position. (That's cheerleading lingo)
26. I count my steps sometimes when I walk.
27. I have phases where I want things to be really organized. Those only last a few months, though.
28. I don't remember the exact date that Ryan proposed to me. (That's horrible)
29. I love to take pictures of other people, but I don't like to be in pictures often.
30. I can remember numbers well.
31. I know random actors' names. Not well known actors, either. "Hector Elizondo" always freaks Ryan out.
32. "The Wizard of Oz" is my all-time favorite movie.
33. If I wasn't as tall as I am, I would still jump on my bed like I did when I was a kid.
34. I graduated high school with 66 people.
35. I love to buy shoes, but have cut way back.
36. I can not justify spending more than $30 on myself for clothes at a time.
37. I check my e-mail about 6 to 7 times a day.
38. I don't like to use public restrooms and only will in emergency situations.
39. I have a bit of a temper.
40. I am filled with joy when my kids hug or kiss each other.
41. I have never filled out a baby book for either of my children.
42. While I don't regret the tattoo that I have, I regret the circumstances surrounding my getting it.
43. I actually enjoy grocery shopping.
44. I know every word to every song in "The Sound of Music."
45. I hate confrontation, but won't back down when bullied.
46. I save movie stubs from great movies.
47. I still have one shirt from when I was in high school. It's a sweatshirt.
48. I had post-partum depression after both babies. It was worse after Reese.
49. Ryan and I drew Alex's name out of a hat.
50. I clip coupons and then forget to use them.
51. When I see my old teachers from childhood, I still call them Mr. or Mrs. I can't call them by their first names, even if they ask me to.
52. I miss my old dog Peaches, even though she liked me least.
53. I always knew I would be a fairly young mom.
54. I sing, loudly, when I'm in the car.
55. I can't stand to have the heater on. It makes it difficult for me to breathe.
56. Winter is my favorite season.
57. I don't know how to dive.
58. I pretend to be a heavy sleeper.
59. When I speak, I enunciate so well that you can read my lips from across the room and understand everything I'm saying.
60. My nickname when I was little was "Beaner."
61. I never forget a face.
62. I'm not a very brave person.
63. I rarely forget important dates. (Except the day Ryan proposed, apparently.)
64. I know everyone's birthday. If you've told me, that is.
65. If I could, I would paint every room in my house a different shade of purple.
66. When I was in high school, I locked my keys in my car on a weekly basis. The principal kept a spare set in his desk after awhile.
67. I've broken my nose 3 times.
68. My big toes look like light bulbs.
69. I have small hands, like my dad.
70. I still remember my best friend's name (Mary Catherine) from when we lived in Midwest City. We moved when I was 4.
71. "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker brings me to tears every time I hear it, especially at the end when his voice cracks.
72. I don't find Angelina Jolie attractive at all.
73. I could eat Lemon Meringue pie every day.
74. The Sonic commercials with the two guys, and the ones with the husband and wife, are my favorite commercials.
75. I have horrendous eye sight.
76. I will only buy Duracell batteries. I don't like Energizer.
77. I have an overwhelming fear of being attacked when I'm out at night by myself.
78. I can cook, but only if by recipe. I'm not creative in the kitchen.
79. I can't draw.
80. Music moves me in a way like nothing else.
81. I think Sean Connery has a very sexy voice and is one of the most handsome men on the planet...still.
82. Some of my best memories from childhood involve my best friend Melanie Merchant. We were inseparable from kindergarten on, until we lost touch after she moved in 7th grade.
83. I didn't know what "Smoothe move, Exlax!" meant until I was in college.
84. There's a look that Ryan gives me that gets me every time.
85. I've never been to New York City, but want to go in the next 5 years.
86. I turn the water off when I brush my teeth.
87. I have Three Dog Night on my iPod.
88. Princess Diana died on my sixteenth birthday.
89. I could listen to a British person read the phone book and be completely at peace.
90. Iced animal cookies are my favorite.
91. I love to write poetry.
92. "The Office" is my favorite TV show.
93. My favorite Christmas movie is "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."
94. Debbie Gibson's birthday is the same day as mine.
95. Cheerleading was my one great love growing up.
96. God told me that I was going to marry Ryan the night I met him. I didn't even know who he was yet.
97. I watched Seinfeld before anybody knew what it was...way before it became popular.
98. My first Cabbage Patch doll's name is Kerry. My parents still have her in my closet at their home.
99. I don't like to watch football.
100. The happiest day in my life was the day that Ryan and I got married.
